Meeting called to order at 7:15

Minutes from January were deemed to be good.

  • CXCC updates, Awards & Bike Show –  accepted

Financials

  • Sylvie will update them when she returns.

Awards and Bike Show Review

  • Banner was great, old videos were a hit. Ted needs a new camera.
  • Franklin Dahl wants to head up a PN legacy committee & coordinate info gathering
  • Possible tee shirt banner for awards show
  • Look at new trophies
  • Tom wants to post PN info in the bush
  • Award’s night was well received but the logistics & coordination was difficult to deal with. Ask Christine but make sure you have a clear calendar

Feedback on Rules changes: Specifically, Errol Borsky’s feedback on Work Points

  • Negative feedback regarding work points
  • More arm twisting needs to be done to get people to see the  benefit of not giving out full work points
  • Try the new system for a couple of years & Ken will turn on the charm

 

Work Incentive Program Review

  • 35 people participated, 11 were heads above the others
  • Swag rewards were handed out, roughly $55 per person & PN licenses for next year, roughly $1050
  • Potentially reduce the license – one day license instead of a full season.
  • Ken was bad & need to be punished
  • Change up the swag bag goodies
  • Get info out to all the clubs regarding the program
  • Poster to hand out with pre-entry packages & also at race sign up tables

New Business

  • New awards night banners. Ted to look after.
  • Scott needs help with Merritt Arrow situation give Doug Fredrickson info to Ken
  • DMMC got their 56
  • Eagle Mtn. got their 56
  • Tom brought up a complaint from a racer that race communication was a problem.
